Activities with your pet
Pets on leashes are welcome at the Hamina Market Square. Also, when on leashes, pets are welcome in the town’s parks, excluding those parks that have children’s playgrounds and sport equipment. Pets are not allowed at public beaches or nature trails. The places where pets are not allowed are clearly marked.
There are two dog parks in Hamina:
- Saviniemi dog park (Läntinen Asemakatu) for smaller dogs
- Meltti dog park (Karjakatu, 2) for larger dogs
